All women are welcomed to join the Methodist Women Saturday, September 11 at the Real Life Center. We will meet at the center at 9:00 AM and finish up around 11 AM. Help is needed to sort clothing for the Thrift Store. The center is located at 382 Senoia Road in Tyrone. If you have any questions please see Elaine Pierce. Join us for a fun and rewarding morning. Eat - Pray - Plan
Hopewell Women will hold their annual planning session on Saturday, Sept. 25th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the home of Elaine Pierce. All members of the group are encouraged to attend this important meeting to plan programs and activities for 2011. Last year’s meeting was very productive and helped keep us on track all year. If you are new to Hopewell, or just haven’t really felt connected, this would be an excellent opportunity to get to know the women and feel more at home. The U.M.W. serving dinner at the March Friday Fun Night.
The Charity Circle volunteered at The Real Life Center on Saturday, March 6, 2010. They delivered canned goods and nonperishable food items for the food pantry and then worked about three hours sorting clothes for the store. It was fun and very rewarding work. The next work day at Real Life is scheduled for June 5th. Mark your calendar and plan to come and help. The volunteers who worked in March were: Marilyn Ellis, Sharon Collins, Debbie Hamby, Cindy Diaz, Elaine Pierce, and Karen West.
