Rev. Jenny Anderson
Jenny Anderson grew up in Jackson, Ga where she attended Jackson United Methodist Church and graduated from Jackson High School. Jenny is a graduate of La Grange College (2003) where she earned a degree in Religion and Philosophy. As a college student, Jenny worked summers at Camp Glisson, a United Methodist Camp in the North Georgia Mountains and at her home church assisting with programming for children and youth. Jenny holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Rev. Anderson was ordained an Elder in the North Georgia Conference in 2011. She has served as the associate pastor at Kennesaw UMC, as pastor of Cumberland UMC and Co-Pastor of Covenant UMC.
Jenny and her husband Nick met at La Grange College. They have two daughters, Alexandra and Julia. They enjoy being outdoors, spending time with friends, cooking, traveling, and cheering on the UGA Bulldogs. Jenny and Nick are excited to join the Hopewell family and look forward to many years of service together.
