Hopewell Methodist Women
This group is philanthropic and mighty! They care about our church and our community. There are two circles in this group: Faith n’ Action and Charity. The Unit, comprised of both circles, meets three times a year to share and plan projects that reflect the interests of the group. Members make a once a year monetary pledge which is used to help those less fortunate.
Faith n’ Action circle members are more mature in age and they meet once a month for fellowship. They also hold bake sales and a few other fund raising projects throughout the year. If you are interested in joining the group, contact the church office and they will put you in touch with this circle.
Charity circle members are a little younger and more active. They help support a lot of non-profit organizations in the community and beyond. Their main source of fund raising is Wednesday Night Suppers. The suppers are held once a month and the proceeds from each meal is donated to a designated charity. The circle meets once a month for fellowship and sometimes to give physical support to one of the local non-profits. If you are interested in joining this active group, contact the church office.
